If you’ve seen me in real life (or if you’re family), you’ve probably known for quiiiite a while that I’m pregnant!

This second pregnancy has been completely different from my first. No gender reveal party this time—we found out it’s a girl over the phone while out running errands as a family. I haven’t prepared anything, and honestly, we’ve just been in basic survival mode since February 😅.

But we’re so excited to finally share that baby girl #2 is due on October 3 (we’ve officially made it to the third trimester!).

Chloe is BEYOND excited to have a sibling—and even more thrilled that it’s a sister 🤍 We can’t wait to grow our little crew and become a family of four!

I grew up with cows on one side of my house, elk on the other, horses next to that, and pigs down the road. Most of those animals are now gone, but this sweet elk is one of the oldest elk left, the momma-and she’s become part of my neighbors family. Almost like a pet. Their property is filled with beautiful fruit trees, a large pond, and stunning mature trees that create the perfect shaded backyard. Their backyard is a dream and we spent the evening just exploring it and seeing what we could find! Was a little kids dream!

Chloe turns six this year and I still honestly can’t believe it! We had her Kindergarten graduation with our sweet homeschool community and it was so fun to watch all these kids cheer her on. We have loved our first year of homeschooling and hopefully this coming year can measure up 😉.

Hobbies: Chloe loves any kind of arts and crafts, cooking and baking!

Favorite Food: Broccoli and Mac and cheese

Favorite memory from school this year: doing the volcano in science class!

Confession: The newborn phase isn’t my favorite—I really do love my sleep! But there’s something undeniably sweet about having a newborn. Those tiny hands and quiet moments make it all so worth it.

This session was especially close to my heart because this wonderful family welcomed not one, but two beautiful baby girls—my nieces! Getting to capture these moments was such a joy. Seeing their little personalities starting to bloom and feeling the love this family shares was so special. I might be a little biased, but I truly believe they’re the cutest twins ever, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of this chapter in their lives! We had back to Idaho/Utah tomorrow morning and I can’t wait!!
