🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈 I have always felt that the scale of attraction wasn’t always linear for me, and I decided to tell my parents that I was bi when I was 14. Truthfully, it wasn’t much of a coming out moment, because my parents were so loving and accepting of me, that it wasn’t such a big deal. I consider myself so blessed to be surrounded by so many loving and supporting people in my life, but it breaks my heart to know that this is not the case for most people who identify as LGBTQ+. So many pride activists have helped pave the road for a much more loving and accepting tomorrow, but there is still so much room for growth. The concepts of love, attraction, and sexuality ARE NOT black and white topics like so many of us have been taught for generations. as many of you know, i moved to hawaii, but bringing pets here without forcing them to quarantine in honolulu is the most complicated, long, and expensive process ever 😖 i planned to move with my cats but life had other plans and i ended up needing to fly out here earlier than the date that hawaii would allow them to enter. ive been so incredibly lucky to have amazing people in my life who have helped me take care of them while i’m across the country, but to be perfectly honest i didn’t expect just how difficult it would be to be without my kitties for so long. 😞 im so happy to be in hawaii but all of the new changes in my life is kind of overwhelming, and being being without the boys for two months has made me kinda feel like my home really isn’t my home yet. i don’t think i’ll truly feel that way til they’re here, and i miss their snuggles so much i literally cry everyday lol 😭 that being said i am SOOOOOO so so so so soooooooooooo happy to announce that my babies will OFFICIALLY be here in two weeks!!! just in time for Honu’s first birthday, too 🎉😄 just a psa if you ever plan to move to an island or another country, keep allllllll records of pet vaccinations to avoid the long process of redoing the vaccinations. also be aware that the cost of moving an animal here or to another country is, BY FAR way more expensive than it is to move yourself or your belongings. of course it’ll all be worth it in the end, i can’t wait to show my boys the island that i fell in love with ♥️🌺 @ Hawaii

pics unrelated, i just really love my tattoo. 🌺 life is so crazy. i’ve been feeling really unsatisfied and generally unfulfilled with my life; not necessarily unhappy, but i’ve been feeling like the flame burning within me has been dying out, if that makes sense. my lease was up, my car kicked the bucket, and i was staying with immunocompromised family an hour away from work, which meant that it was really difficult to see a lot of the people that i love and continue on with my job. so i made some changes. i turned every unfortunate event into a blessing. no car, no lease, no job, no relationship... it’s so easy to let these factors get you down but really it’s been the biggest blessing, because no strings attached means that i had the opportunity to move to HAWAII!!! life is TOO SHORT to waste your time feeling unfulfilled. ♥️♥️♥️ @ Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
