My biggest issue with newborn photos is...there are wayyy too many cute ones to go through, edit and deliver ;) This beautiful baby joined the outside world a couple weeks ago and her family adores her! She is absolutely gorgeous!! My fav thing about this little one has got to be that amazing cowlick on the front of her hairline!

We had a wild little Maternity session for Kalie and family last weekend! JackJack's Diner in Moscow made the cutest backdrop and was a sweet memory to re-live, as this fun couple had wedding photos captured there at the diner some short years ago. I am learning to embrace all things girl-mom now that I have 3 of them. Lots of flowers, lace, pink and purple, bows and frilly things. I find milk-bath photos to be some of the most beautiful and feminine photography types (maternity and infant typically), but I tried to make it a little more modest (than what is typically seen with maternity) with a cami-dress for some mommy & baby shots. It's been a long time since my first attempt at milk bath photos with my baby Jade and I was excited to try my hand at them again to wrap up what was the "Year of the Flower" in our marriage (my husband buying me flowers every week for a year and me giving birth to our little flower Lily Sophia Rose.).
Fun fact: she definitely shot p**p on me right after the photos. I can't even tell you how much stain treatment we use in this house.

Ana has been a long time client of mine and I have loved getting to photograph her family, engagement, wedding and senior sessions for 2 of her 5 kiddos, so naturally I jumped at the opportunity to take some business headshots/marketing photos for her! I had a baby! Baby Lily was born 3 weeks early on 9/28 at a tiny 4lbs 1 Oz. I had to be induced because she had stopped growing in the womb. And because her placenta was on it's last leg, it couldnt handle strong labor contractions and we had to switch to a C section for this birth (my first C section). Baby Lily was perfectly healthy and we are working hard to fatten her up now that she is on the outside. Due to a combination of C section recovery, breastfeeding and pumping nearly constantly I am a little behind on client work but am close to being caught up! I have clients scheduled for the end of October and looking at early November for more Fall photos if weather allows. Sorry to those who have recieved slow replies. Much of my feeding baby time is 2 handed work, so my time has been very limited. I am looking forward to being back to normal functioning chaos soonish. 🤍
