It’s not about what life throws at you. It’s about how you handle it. I admire people who are patient and calm while also being under pressure.

Photo Chasing sunrise light again this morning.
It’s been a while since I’ve gone out purely to study light, so I took the 100mm and played with shutter speeds to see how the scene transformed.

I started with a slow shutter at 1/40s to introduce motion — letting the breaking waves blur and flow, which adds mood and a sense of movement.
Then I switched to 1/800s to freeze the action, locking in detail in the lip, spray, and texture of the water.

This set is a mix of:
• 1/40s motion blur for flow and atmosphere
• Golden hour light for colour and contrast
• 1/800s fast shutter for crisp detail

Good reminder that shutter speed is one of the biggest creative tools in surf photography — it completely changes the feel of the image, even from the same spot.
