When I got home Saturday night from an unbelievable day of barrel racing, I immediately walked over to Stingray’s pen. With thankful tears in my eyes and a handful of cookies, I scratched her belly and thanked her for everything she has done for me. And, I put 3 fresh bags of shavings down in her sandy pen, just because I know she still loves her shavings.

There are so many amazing stallions that we can choose from, and it’s tough choosing the one that may fulfill your dreams of having “that special horse” come true. For me, it’s all about my mare. Stingray’s second career of having babies is far exceeding my dreams of what they would be like. She definitely passes on her grit and heart.

Principessa, you have your mother’s focus and unshaken confidence. Thank you for the ride you have given me all year.

There are so many nice futurity colts in the class of 2024, and it has been a blast to able to compete with them.
