A little update on Miss Karsyn. Last Monday at her wound care appointment she had all of the dead stuff cut out of her leg🤢 we were told there would be some drainage and that it was normal. We continued on with her normal dressing changes. After a few days her leg was draining through everything! Yesterday at her wound care appointment it appeared that the drainage had been eating away at the wound. There was a gap between the two wounds that is almost gone at this point. So we have backtracked a little bit. Karsyn is a little frustrated, it’s just going to be a bit of a road for her. I figured I would update here so I didn’t miss updating someone.
