I have seen that my picture is making the rounds on Facebook again….

The complete devastation in our mountains of North Carolina is heartbreaking. Please pray for everyone who has been impacted by this devastating event. We’re mountain folk, we’re resilient and we will build back stronger.

This hollar in Ashe County, NC is still there, they had some damage but the houses are still there and they are cleaning up.

Hello there, sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Life gets in the way sometimes. Yesterday my family went hiking at Crabtree Falls and if you haven’t been, you should go. It’s a beautiful hike.

If you’ll look closely, you can see my son in the lower left hand corner of the first picture, that shows how big this waterfall is.
