Our most-favorite thing ever???
GAME. DAY. PHOTOS.
The only people who might love action photos more than us? The kids - teenagers specifically. It’s been the most rewarding/heartwarming thing since our son entered high school to hear the excitement in the kids voices when they say “did you get that!?”
Being able to say “sure did!!” Is worth more than any money we might make.
Hearing “Wes’ mom! Can you take my picture?” Makes my heart swell.
Or the “thank you”s from parents who hire us to capture their child’s memories so they can sit back (read: stand and scream) and enjoy being a spectator.
Truth is, anyone with a decent camera can take “good” photos - but what WE do….is take the great ones. Sure we look for the high-action plays, but we’re also looking for the quiet moments. The in-between. The *sideline* excitement. The moments where an athlete locks eyes with the camera or is so caught up in celebration that no amount of cameras matter.
That’s where Sideline Stories lives.
