Meet the Millard’s.
The sweetest family ever and it’s my immense pleasure to call them our friends. Being stationed here gets sweeter as time goes on - the Marine Corps keeps gifting us with people we were stationed with in the past and it seriously makes my heart want to burst. My dude crew just adores these babes and Chris and I think the world of Emily & Jacob.
Thank you thank you thank you for letting me document such a sweet season for you guys. ❤️

We did something crazy today.
I shot my session at 4pm. Now hear me out. EVERY photographer is different and that’s the cool thing about this industry. I am one of those photographers that shoots in the first 2 hours of the day or the last 2 hours. While I love it for the creamy light - it’s also what fits best for my family. Now today - we were out running a storm. We have some wet days coming & we had to beat the rain. So we headed over to for a 4pm shoot thinkinggggg it was gonna be overcast. It sure wasn’t. But did we create some epic magic anyways? We SURE did. I can’t wait to share how I was able to document this sweet crew before they headed out to their next duty station. 😘

Yall wanna hear something crazy?
We are moving.
But Sam - did you just move a few months ago? Why yes. Yes I did. But for reasons outside of our control - we are moving… again…. On TUESDAY.
Send all the prayers - I’ve never packed an entire house in like two days - but I once was in labor without an epidural for over 30 hours so I’m pretty sure I can take on anything.

But anywayssss - how cute is my new bestie 🫶🏻 I wish I was half as cute as she is pregnant. I can’t wait to show you guys more of this cute session - but for now - I’ve got 9627281 boxes to assemble.

Question for all my clients - or I suppose just anyone honestly.
When receiving your final gallery - would you want to receive all your final edits in BOTH color & b&w?
I am a suckerrrrrr for a grainy b&w BUT I know not everyone is. So if it were you - would you want that option? Or are you fine with a gallery with just a mix of some color, some black and white?
