Pride.
Provincetown, MA

In recognition of Pride Month I am honored to present my latest image entitled “Pride.” This photograph is the culmination of several years of work behind the lens and a good bit of timing and planning to get myself in the right place at the right time. “Pride.” captures two seconds of time during a remarkably colorful sunset looking West over Cape Cod Bay from the tip of Provincetown, MA. Movement was intentionally added during capture to help meld the colors cohesively.

The union of multiple shades of blue, yellow, orange, red, brown, and black are symbolic, at least to me, of what the area represents. Diversity and union and acceptance and tolerance and love — the ideals the area represents for so many. 🏳️‍🌈

It’s an honor to bring this image forward as a limited edition of only 25 fine art archival prints, all of which donate back 10% of their proceeds to the Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC) for their outstanding long-term work in conserving the greater Cape Cod ecosystem.

Peace to you,
James

Thrilled to announce that I will be showing this weekend at the 55th annual LARAC Spring Arts Festival in downtown Glens Falls! My only local show for the 2026 season. The LARAC Festival runs from 10 to 5 on Saturday and from 10 to 4 on Sunday in downtown City Park adjacent to Crandall Public Library and features a wide range of artists and crafters from across the region, including some amazing musicians and food vendors!

If you're not familiar with the festival, it's a wonderful festival and makes a fantastic day trip from the greater Capital Region. I am looking forward to sharing a range of my Adirondack inspired and Northeast coast inspired images!

See you there, the weather looks perfect!

Morning Surf. No. 2
Cape May, NJ.

In April I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Cape May, NJ to explore the coast and abundant marshes for the first time. After some scouting and adjusting the rhythm of the place began to grab hold, and I began to truly see the area with a new photographic eye. Known for its historic coastal buildings, abundant birdlife, and impressive wineries, I went the other way. What else was this unique area saying? What else did its unique natural heritage also have to say? I’m looking forward to sharing it with you over the coming months, I found it to be a subtle yet impressively beautiful place to explore.

Peace,
James

Adirondack Spring.

A true joy to return to one of my favorite images, but one I’ve rarely shared outside the art show circuit. This was such a lovely morning, one I’ve tried to replicate but alas the scene has succumb to succession.

Peace,
James
