Cerastium tomentosum - snow in the summer. I planted this several years ago when Marshall Associates bought 94 Glenwood Ave. It’s in full bloom in our sign box. I first saw this spreading perennial plant at Hovey Pond Park in their garden. It turned out to be a perfect plant for our sign box! I bought 6 small pots of it and it filled out perfectly in the following years. Its stems and leaves are soft and sage green; I often find myself out in the front yard to touch them. That’s my love story for Snow in the Summer. So cute in my little vase with Lily of the valley.
