With all the rain the last 24 hours I thought I’d share this iPhone shot I took a couple days ago.

The colors on this one are crazy cool, and so is the location! I’ve been working on trying to perfect a drone shot at the Villa Katherine but haven’t quite nailed the effect, so nothing to share yet. Hopefully I’ll be able to fine tune it next week.

Hopefully this shot brings you a little sunshine while the clouds are overhead this morning! And if you get a chance to check out the QHS homecoming parade tonight, do it!

This is a shot from a video I shared a couple weeks ago. I still cannot believe how smooth the water was that morning, almost like a mirror. So much to stop and look at with this one.

Looking forward to some cooler weather, and rain, this week! Hopefully the weather stays nice for all the QHS Homecoming activities!

What a great morning to get out and enjoy some clean air and beautiful scenery. If you haven’t gotten your steps in yet, come out to one of the many amazing parks in the city! My favorite is “the trail” on 18th street where you can take in views like the one in the photo.

Whatever your plans are for the day, I hope they’re great!

Had a cool idea to desaturate this entire photo, minus the bridge and a small portion of the sky around the lightning to add some visual interest. I think I came out with one of my most unique images in quite awhile.

What do you think? Does adding the color selectively make this image more interesting or do you prefer full color? I honestly think this would look really amazing in a black matte...I may just order one!

Looking straight down Hampshire on one of the most vibrant sunrises last month. Just some amazing, colorful clouds overhead while the city is just beginning to bustle with people starting their days.

I really like this shot and have a really cool plan in the future with a shot just like this!

Sometimes catching a sunset at the riverfront with friends or family is just what you need. I've had this one waiting to share for a little while and thought tonight would be perfect to post it.

This shot was during one of the cooler days before Quincy and the rest of the Midwest decided to turn into the surface of the sun! The angle of this shot is amazing. It captures the wonderful fountain, colorful sunset and the photogenic Bayview Bridge. What a perfect night spent at the perfect place!

If you look under the bridge, you can catch a single bolt I caught during an overnight storm a couple weeks ago. With all the heat lately, it seems like forever ago since we've seen a drop. Hopefully we get a nice little storm next week to help cool things down. It'd be a nice little bonus if it came with some lightning too!

The colors on this image are really cool too. I love the long reflections of the lights from the bridge on the surface of the river. I also can't ignore the clouds and how they seem to be both organized and disorganized. It was a really fun storm to watch roll into the area.

🌎🌎🌎Planet Quincy🌎🌎🌎

These types of images are commonly referred to as “little planets” and there’s no need to guess why. I decided to head down to the riverfront around sunset last month to make a little planet out of all the wonderful scenery and clouds.

I think it turned out pretty great considering it’s my first time trying but I have some ideas on some things I can do to make it just a little bit better next time.

This is the finale of images with the Bayview Bridge illuminated pink in honor of Dolly Parton. I appreciate all of the comments on my image from last Saturdays photo. It was the MOST liked image I've ever shared on my page with you all so I thought I'd share just one more.
