Come see our photography at Ridgecrest Public House in Shoreline () during the month of May! We are so thrilled to be partnering with on their rotating art show at Ridgecrest. It is a lovely venue (21+) with a rotating selection of food trucks, and all the art is for sale. We have been involved with a Shorelake Arts events for many years, so this is extra special!

We were lucky enough to see this beautiful barred owl on a trip near Gig Harbor a few years ago. Owls truly are majestic.

This is my second ever Milky Way image made using a star tracker. I made this image from two photos taken from the same location and at the same time of night near Cattle Point Lighthouse on San Juan Island; the sky is a 2-minute exposure using a star tracker, and the foreground is a stationary 2-minute exposure taken just afterwards.

Being parents, we don't get as many opportunities to do night sky photography as before our kiddo was born, so it was special to get a chance to go out and do some night photography on a trip to the San Juan Islands last year. It can be hard to get away from the light pollution of Puget Sound, as evidenced by the bright horizon, but I still really like how this photo turned out. 📷: Alison 📍 Land of the Lummi, Klallam, Samish, Tulalip, and W̱SÁNEĆ people

It's cherry blossom season! If you are in Seattle, we hope you get a chance to enjoy the magical cherry blossom on the UW campus. They remind me of the truffula trees from The Lorax. In exciting news, we are planning to offer a set of blank notecards featuring four different cherry blossom photos!
