Photographic Design Gallery & Framing, 411 Sixth Street, is happy to welcome back its talented young cellist, Nolan Boerner, who will entertain visitors with his beautiful music on First Friday, May 2nd.

Special guests for the month of May will be three Prairie School seniors; Luella Pias, Tevene Vartanian and Emma Weaver. They will be exhibiting their three-dimensional art including glass, ceramics and mixed media. An artists’ reception will be held during First Friday hours from 4–9 p.m. for these talented young artists.

Luella has had a lifelong passion for the visual arts. Her work has been recognized with awards from the Racine Art Museum in earlier years and, more recently, a Scholastic Art Award for her glass and multimedia pieces. Tevene enjoys creating whimsical art including such pieces as bird and fruit bowls and animal-themed plates. Emma’s art usually has some connection to nature in the form of flowers or birds. Visitors will certainly enjoy meeting them and seeing their delightful creations.

The gallery is open 11-5 Fridays, 11-9 First Friday, 10-2 Saturdays and by appointment. For more information, or for an appointment, please call 262-633-9899 or email [email protected].
