BONK!

BONK! BONK! is a monthly performance series, based in Racine, Wisconsin, which mainly brings in poets, musicians and other writers from all over America. alive.

is held once a month on a random Saturday and runs from about 6-7:45pm. The series is curated by the BONK Team as well as a handful of guest curators. was originally founded in October 2008 with Nick Demske, Matt Specht and Nicholas Michael Ravnikar. The current BONK! Crew is:

Excited to share a second book in this series The Art of Reunion. This is a smallish paperback book I put together with leftover poems from Book 1 The Love I Hate published in 2018. I hope you enjoy the poems; heartfelt with a hint of sarcasm.

The images are my own and I think you will enjoy these as some have been juried into different shows /galleries around Wisconsin. Thank you for letting me post this.

As a previous BONK! volunteer I have to say I miss the events and would like to revive some of the memories!

The Racine Public Library generously paid host to our shenanigans and was a stalwart supporter of the BONK! Performance Series. We couldn't have done this for 15 years without them. Now they need our help!

The library is an incredibly valuable community resource for our arts and literary community (and for kids and adults and seniors and everyone). Please come speak out against any cut to library funding on Tuesday.
