When I look back on Camila + Obed’s wedding day, I am overwhelmed with so much joy!!
Throughout the entire day, I found myself overcome with emotion, not simply because of the beauty of their celebration, but because of how deeply these two love Jesus.
There are many weddings where the Gospel is proclaimed during the ceremony, mentioned in the vows, or woven into the speeches. But it is something truly special to witness two young people whose lives have been so genuinely transformed by Jesus, two hearts that are so deeply on fire for Him.
It is hard to know Camila + Obed and not know their heart for the Lord. They are two of the most loving, caring, and kind people we have had the privilege of meeting, and their love for Jesus naturally overflows into the way they love the people around them.
During the speeches, their bridal party spoke again and again about how deeply Camila + Obed love people and love the Lord. And I couldn’t agree more. It wasn’t only in the words that were spoken, although Jesus was beautifully and intentionally made the center of their day. It was in the joy they carried, the kindness they continually poured out, the way they welcomed people in, and the genuine love that was evident in every part of their celebration.
Camila + Obed, thank you.
Thank you for fearlessly proclaiming the Gospel. Thank you for genuinely living out the way Jesus calls us to live. And thank you for being such an encouragement to us to love harder, serve more freely, and keep Jesus at the center of everything.
Your marriage is already such a beautiful testimony of the Lord’s goodness, and it was an absolute honor to witness the beginning of this next chapter.
May your marriage be filled with an abundance of joy, may you continue to grow deeper in love with one another and with Jesus, and may the Lord bless your marriage for all the years to come. 🤍
