Working on streamlining my setup. Finally mounted the mini pc on top with shorter cables. Still working on cable management with the remaining dew heaters, guiding and power cables.

The Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh will be hosting Astronomy Days on the weekend of January 28th to the 29th from 10am-6pm.

More old data reprocessing, this time of the Whirlpool Galaxy. Not much integration time, but was still able to get a nice image!

New attempt at processing some old data from this past January.

M45 - The Pleiades: Integrated new tools such as BlurXTerminator, NoiseXTerminator and new-to-me processing in PixInsight.

Learning a lot, but also learning that I still have a lot more to learn! This hobby is rewarding and always reveals more and more rabbit holes of knowledge to glean.

Revisting some old Orion data. Processed in PixInsight with the new BlurXTerminator from RC Astro and implemented some new techniques to squeeze out more detail.

Looking forward to reimaging and getting shorter exposures to reveal the Trapezium in an HDR composition.
