Let me sell you a second shooter in 13 photos.
Having a second photographer on a wedding day is something I will never stop being grateful for.
While I’m focused on the main event, the first kiss, the vows, the portraits, the moments everyone is watching, there is another member of your team looking in a completely different direction.
They’re catching your mom wiping away a tear. Your grandparents holding hands during the ceremony. Your best friend’s reaction when she sees you walk down the aisle. The hug happening behind me while I’m photographing something else entirely.
So many of the photographs that end up meaning the most are moments I physically could not have been in two places to see.
A second shooter isn’t just about more photos. It’s another perspective. Another set of eyes. Another person paying attention to the people you love while your day is unfolding all around you.
And a very special thank you to Joy Lynn | Central Pennsylvania and Travel Photographer, who has been my right hand for so many weddings this year. I’m endlessly grateful for the care she gives my couples, the way she anticipates what I need before I even ask, and the beautiful eye she brings to every wedding day.
Some of my favorite photographs from this year exist because she was there to see what I couldn’t.
