Just got back from our annual family trip to White Lake. My position as the Official WL Family Photographer means that I get to TAKE THE DANG PICTURE. And many of my family members will fuss, but the reality is, we can’t always wait for the perfect hair or perfect outfit or perfect (fill in the blank). So even if you are sweaty or your gut is out or it looks like you have dip in your pocket, who cares! Take the dang picture and share the dang picture and print the dang picture.

What I see
Because when I am editing moments

“Gosh she is such an incredible mom”
“Look at how much her kids love her”
“She is the only one who could really get her kid to laugh”

So yes, I am sure that it was like moving a mountain to get your entire family dressed
But I cannot help but see you. See what you do. And I know that the world they live in actually revolves because of you.

Some things are just meant to be. I can confidently say that meeting Trent and Martha for their parental, then showing up for their birth 2 weeks later was truly perfect timing, even if it wasn’t “the plan”. I am always honored to be a tiny part of such a Sacred Space and such an amazing team. Also thankful for the “action shots” that I can’t get myself!
