T E N S I O N. holding both sorrow and joy is complex, taxing, yet beautiful. Violin strings without tension cannot play sonatas. There is purpose in the tension and without it, the instrument cannot fully realize it’s potential as intended by its creator.

MaryBritt and Jacob, God bless you as you hold both bliss and loss in tension. May the stories of your lives, as you continue to grow your little family, bring glory to God and be a testament to his grace and mercy.

J O Y. I had the honor of working with Sarah about 5 years ago … she was my boss and I got to see that beautiful smile everyday. Then I got to meet Iain (who I thought was named Lain for a short period of time). And I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect match. Their joy they exude everyday for the Lord is contagious … and friends, it will be your strength as you go through sleepless nights with a baby, challenges with raising a toddler, the worries of teaching a young adult. Keep shining. Keep laughing. Keep loving each other well.

WATER. the water calms the soul and opens our hearts to see the genius and faithfulness of the Creator.

Someone pinch me because I’m living my dream rn! Just visited these waterfront villas (Aka houseboats 🤓) in Wilmington, NC recently and they are luxury on water 😍

🌊 Docked at Cape fear marina, right off the Wilmington Riverwalk. An easy walk in one direction to the Marina Grill and to historical downtown Wilmington in the other direction.

🌊 Live music from the amphitheater can be easily heard from one of three private terraces any given weekend.

🌊 two bedrooms and two baths comfortably accommodate four people. A fully stocked kitchen allows for making your favorite gourmet meals in house.

🌊 An easy drive to the beach, the battleship, and your favorite restaurants and activities downtown make this the perfect spot for your next getaway!

🌊 with views of the water from every window in the house, this is one of the most unique stays near the ocean.
