“I’m having the hardest time selecting favorites because I love them all!”

Getting texts like this from you makes my heart melt like butterrrr (the good Irish kind of course). And while I don’t enjoy seeing you in any kind of predicament, you struggling to narrow down your favorites is one I fully support - because few things make me happier than knowing that you feel beautiful and seen and captured just the way you are in your engagement or wedding images 💛

Does doing a FIRST LOOK TAKE AWAY FROM THIS MOMENT at the ceremony?

I know this is one of the main concerns of my couples who are considering seeing each other before the ceremony and I can confidently say, no, it does not.

While of course I believe the actual “seeing each other for the first time” all dressed up is special on your wedding day, you will find out that the real magic is in the moments when the music starts playing, the doors open and you both realize you are about to get married, surrounded by all your favorite people. And that magic can truly not be touched by you seeing each other before hand ✨are you planning to do a first look? Or maybe you’re already married and did one? I’d love to hear what your experience was in the comments!
