Maiden voyage. Two miles in, glass-calm water, and not a single regret about this new kayak yet.

Took the new inflatable out for its first real test at Falls Lake, Beaverdam Recreation Area — mirror-still water, perfect sky reflection, and a solid 2-mile paddle to break it in. Hard to beat mornings like this.

Contact. Caught this swing right at the moment of impact — that's the shot you wait all game for.
