SURPRISE! Going into my 4th year of full time photography I knew I wanted to make a shift. After months of working alongside Devyn V | Brand + Web Designer I’m so happy to finally share that my new branding and website are LIVE! I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey with me thus far and for trusting me to tell their stories. To all my upcoming brides I’m still so excited and honored to be capturing your big day - but moving forward my heart is calling me to the smaller more intimate spaces. As I make this shift I’ll only be booking microweddings and elopements (and of course portraits!) because there’s no such thing as too small for love worth documenting.
For me it’s the slow mornings, spending time with your people, the little glances while you think no one’s watching, and just being fully present instead of chasing perfection. So whether you’re eloping at the local courthouse, in your backyard with your closest people or having a weekend long destination bash I’m ready for you! I can’t wait to see where this journey continues to take me and what new places and people I will meet along the way. It’s still a pinch me kind of thing that I get to call this my “job” and that’s pretty darn cool. I might start as just your “photographer” but my hope is to always turn into your new friend like we’ve already known each other. We can be goofy and have fun together because that’s where the best moments open up for photos, when you’re truly just being yourself.
To Devyn - thank you for taking all the sporadic thoughts and feelings in this gals head and turning it into reality. You’ve taken many random ideas and turned it into something cohesive and so wonderful and beautiful. I wouldn’t have been able to do all of this without your guidance, patience, creativity and countless voice memos back and forth. I will be forever grateful for you helping me make this change and steering me where I wanted to go!
