🎂🖤 WHEN CLIENTS BECOME FAMILY…

We don’t know many of our clients’ birthdays. Honestly, once we deliver your gallery, we’re not exactly sitting around with a calendar waiting for the next milestone. 😂

BUT… when we do know, you better believe we’re celebrating.

Today we are screaming the biggest HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Bryan Mourar! 🎉🥳

We had the absolute honor of photographing Bryan & Kara’s wedding in May at The Grove at Kempton, and their day was every bit as beautiful as they are. 🥹🖤

But what means even more to us is that Bryan and Kara have been supporting Arcanum Lens Imagery since DAY ONE.

They were there before the business had grown into what it is today. Before all the weddings, the sessions, the crazy busy seasons, the milestones, the late nights, the big dreams… they believed in us.

And that’s the part of this business we will never take for granted.

Yes, we take pictures.
Yes, we deliver galleries.
Yes, we get to witness some of the most important days of our clients’ lives.

But somewhere along the way, something pretty damn special happens.

Our clients become our people.

We get to watch families grow. Celebrate anniversaries. Hear about new babies. See life updates. Run into couples years later. And sometimes, we’re lucky enough to have people like Bryan & Kara who continue to cheer us on long after their wedding gallery has been delivered.

That is the kind of “business” we want to build.

Not a revolving door of transactions.

A community. A family. A group of people who know they’ll always have a place in the Arcanum Fam. 🖤

🚩 LET’S TALK “PAY-TO-PLAY.” 🚩

There’s something happening in the wedding industry that we think couples deserve to know about.

Some wedding venues allow vendors to pay to be placed on their preferred vendors list - regardless of the vendor’s quality of work, reputation, values, communication, or even whether they’re actually a good fit for their couples.

In essence…

Money talks.

And honestly? That’s not how we believe a preferred vendor list should work.

At Arcanum Lens Imagery, we do not pay for our spot on anyone’s preferred vendor list.

If a venue recommends us, we want it to be because we have earned that recommendation. Because they’ve seen our work. Because they’ve experienced how we communicate with our couples. Because they know the level of service we provide. Because they trust us to show up and deliver.

We would much rather earn a place on a list than buy one.

And as a couple planning your wedding, we encourage you to ask questions.

“Are your preferred vendors selected based on their work and reputation, or can vendors pay to be included?”

You deserve to know whether a recommendation is based on quality or a transaction.

We’ll keep doing things the way we believe they should be done:

📸 Create incredible images.
🤝 Take care of our couples.
💬 Communicate.
🖤 Show up.
✨ Earn the trust we’re given.

Because if our name is on a preferred vendors list, we want it there because we earned it. Period.

This weekend, we had the absolute honor of photographing Mr. & Mrs. Fry as they celebrated their beautiful wedding day at the stunning Sunken Gardens at Lauxmont Farms. 💍🌿

From the gorgeous scenery to the little moments that made their day uniquely theirs, it was such a joy to be there to capture it all. 🖤

And we HAVE to talk about dinner because… WOW. 😂🍕
Common Good brought the pizza, and that short rib pizza was AMAZING. Like, “we’re still thinking about it” amazing. 🤤

Today we get to celebrate Alexander Fry & Olivia Sterling as they say “I do” at the beautiful Sunken Gardens at Lauxmont Farms. 🤍🌿

And yes… the rain decided to RSVP. 😂🌧️

But rain isn’t stopping today from being absolutely MAGICAL. If anything, it’s just adding a little extra romance to the story.

So bring on the clouds, the raindrops, the happy tears, and all the love. Because today isn’t about perfect weather - it’s about a perfect moment with the person you chose forever. 🥹💍

📣 ATTENTION OCTOBER & NOVEMBER COUPLES! 📣

Our busy season is BUSY-ing. 😂 Between the volume of sessions and weddings we have coming up, final calls that need to be scheduled, and a much-needed Disney World trip for a little reset… we’ve got a lot happening over here!

That being said, we wanted to give our October & November couples a heads-up:

💌 Your “homework” will be coming to you via email within the next week! Please keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder, because technology loves to make things difficult 😅).

📞 We will also be reaching out to schedule your final calls. We currently have 9 final calls that need to be completed, and with several unavailable dates coming up, we’ll be working to get everyone scheduled as efficiently as possible.

We promise we haven’t forgotten about you! We’re just juggling a LOT right now and making sure every couple gets the attention and preparation they deserve.
