Michael borrowed a SLR film camera one day and discovered he had an eye for photography. “It’s the only right-brained thing I can do,” he often jokes. Specializing in event photography, he’s great at being at the right place at the right time to capture that perfect moment. These skills also translate well into wedding photography and being able to capture that spark and twinkle as the couple say
s “I Do”. That being said, he’s also the go-to guy for studio shots whether it’s for headshots or a family that wants a professional portrait session. He’s been the official photographer for The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire since 2008 and is a 5-time winner in Renaissance Festival Awards Best Faire Photography category. Michael resides in Reading, PA with his wife and two daughters. Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I use your pictures on my Instagram, Facebook, etc? As long as the the picture is not being used for commercial purposes or promotion, go right ahead. All I ask is that you do not hotlink to my site, please upload the image to a photo sharing site. And last, the pictures may not be used in a derogatory manner. If you are asked to remove the picture by either me or the subject, please respect the request and remove it. Do you sell the pictures you take? The only pictures I sell are the pictures that do not have human subjects, that I have a model release for, or that I sell to the subject. If there are any prints or pictures you would like to purchase the rights to use, please contact me. Where are the pictures you took of....? I do not post all of my personal photography for the public to see. Most of the people I know also know where to look for those pictures. If you would like to get the link, please contact me. You took a picture of me and I will like to be able to sell that picture for commercial purposes, can I do it? Not without permission from me. According to copyright law in the US, the ownership and copyright on photographs resides with the photographer. Therefore, whether you are the subject or not, without permission you cannot commercially use or sell the photography. However, I cannot sell the photography without a model release or the subjects permission. Do you do headshots, portraits, weddings, events, etc? Yes, I can do pictures of almost anything. How much do you charge? My costs depend on the job. If it is a situation where I am just doing headshots for a struggling actor, the cost will be minimal. If it is a wedding that will take up most of my Saturday, the cost will be higher. If you have a job that you would like done, contact me and we discuss what the rate will be. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected].
