This past Monday night the Tammy Wynette tribute was held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. Thanks to my dear friend, Georgette Jones, I was able to get an All Access Pass to the event to photograph the concert, backstage, dressing rooms, ... This was definitely one of the highlights of my life! Everyone backstage and at the venue could not have been nicer, from the security, ushers, sound and tech people, hair and makeup artists, managers and several people who I had no idea what their job was, could not have been kinder and easier to work with. Although it was cramped backstage, everyone was in a great mood, and we all definitely were having a ball! Before photographing any of the artist performing there night, I introduced myself and told them that I was from Red Bay, AL, Tammy's hometown, that I worked with the Red Bay Museum with the largest display on Tammy, anywhere in the world at this time. When I asked permission to take their picture, everyone was so nice to say yes and they thanked me. Since I took so many images, I'll be posting them at different times. The first couple of posts I'll make are from before the event and during it, back stage.
