Thank you to everyone that has trusted me to capture their special day!
I’m going to say this with love, but also very seriously:
Please be careful who you trust with your wedding photos.
Your wedding day is not something you can redo. You cannot go back and recreate the vows, the first look, your grandparents hugging you, your dad walking you down the aisle, the reception moments, or the people who showed up to love you on one of the biggest days of your life.
Unfortunately, there are couples right now who are still waiting on wedding galleries they may never receive.
That is heartbreaking.
Before you book a photographer, please do your research. Do not just look at a pretty page or a low price and assume everything is okay.
Make sure they have a real contract.
Make sure they have reviews.
Ask to see full galleries, not just highlights.
Make sure their business is legal.
Ask about turnaround time.
Pay attention to communication before you ever send money.
And please remember, if the price feels too good to be true, there may be a reason.
This is not about being the cheapest. This is about being trusted with memories that cannot be replaced.
A wedding photographer should not just show up, take photos, and disappear. They should have a process, a contract, backups, communication, experience, and the professionalism to deliver what they promised.
Your wedding photos matter.
Your memories matter.
Please protect them. 🤍
