Last night I took Samson down to our creek for a few photos, and it reminded me how much I love photographing families in places where kids can actually explore and play.

Photos are one of the only investments that grow more valuable with time. Years from now, you won’t care about the laundry that wasn’t folded or the to-do list that wasn’t finished—you’ll care about having images that bring you right back to this stage of life.

If you’ve been thinking about getting photos done but keep putting it off, this is your little nudge. The kids are growing, seniors are in the final half of their last year, and life isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
