I’m fascinated by the vast differences from family to family, and even more fascinated by just how alike we all are. We are all having our own unique life experience, and yet, there is a common thread that runs through all of us. Wanting the best for our children, being changed in amazing ways when we become parents, and the overwhelming love we have for our kids. I strive to live a life that is f

ull of notice and gratitude for the everyday mundane moments in life. I make it my goal to photograph those moments for my clients to inspire them to take a moment and know that while the highlight reel is beautiful, the behind the scenes footage is where the real magic happens.

It's called Kinusaiga a Japanese art form of painting with fabric. No sewing, experience or talent required.

I'm teaching a class on Saturday Aug 22, 11am at Smith + Trade Mercantile in downtown Red Wing.
