In all the time I have been doing landscape photography, I have shot only a handful of waterfalls, and this has to be one of my favorites. It was quite tricky to get a footing near this big whirlpool you see in the foreground as rain kept pouring, making things really slippery.

This weekend’s spectacular sunset

I barely made it here in time to catch the last light. The sun peeped out of the thick clouds near the horizon just for a few minutes to create this beautiful sun star🌅

You can see the American flag at half mast as the nation mourns the loss of former President George H. W. Bush (Shot on December 2nd). Politics aside, what an incredible guy; WW2 War Hero, played a pivotal role in unification of Germany! May he Rest In Peace.

Fall Morning at Maroon Bells

A calm morning at the Maroon Bells. This has got to be one of the most photographed locations in Colorado, and for a good reason! Just look at it!
This was shot in less that ideal light, around an hour after the sunrise. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no light hitting the peaks directly on both the mornings I shot here. A great reason to go back next year!———————————————

Hot Springs creating an utopian scene with their steaming turquoise water and snow capped mountains in the backdrop, light in a soft Alpenglow. These conditions lasted for just about about 5 minutes as the sun started to rise and it got too bright.
