SO. MANY. GEMS. TO. SHARE From this Westin Maui Resort wedding!!

Jeena and Andy were the absolute sweetest couple to photograph. They never once complained about the humidity or crazy wind (their wedding was right before hurricane lowell).

Kaanapali Beach and the Westin Maui resort was the perfect setting for J+A’s sunset portraits, first look, ceremony, and all of their wedding celebrations!!

I loved seeing the boats coming in from off the shore as the sun set.

After sunset portraits, Jeena and Andy turned around and watched the last few minutes of the sun dipping below the horizon, in silence and awe. It was the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen 🤍

It was impossible to narrow down their sneak peek gallery, and even more impossible choosing from the gallery which photos to post here!

OVER. THE. MOON. To be sharing some sneak peeks from Jeena and Andy’s pre-wedding day photo session in Maui at the Maui Westin Resort!

Jeena and Andy chose to do a sunset photo session in their traditional Korean hanbok the night before their Westin Maui Resort wedding.

We took their photos around the Maui Westin Resort property - an absolutely gorgeous location with an incredible golden hour!

It was so much fun photographing these two and I can’t wait to share sneak peeks from their big day!

SO. MANY. FAVORITES. From this gorgeous Fall wedding at Hacienda de las Flores!!

These two had so much fun during their wedding weekend, from karaoke at their rehearsal dinner to the sweetest first look to getting down on the dance floor!

Hacienda de las Flores was the perfect backdrop for their wedding celebration - blending elegant architecture with nature and redwoods. We got to explore a little more of the redwood aspect of Hacienda this time (per Jonathon and Victoria’s request), and I honestly loved it! I’ve done a few weddings at Hacienda, and I love that there are still aspects to be discovered about the venue.

PLUS, a few of the the gorgeous leaves were changing to their Fall colors, and matched their wedding colors perfectly!

All in all, a stunning day, filled with so much happiness 🥰

The best weddings I get to be part of all have one thing in common: they feel like the couple threw them.

Sometimes that shows up in a big way: a color palette that’s bold and unapologetic, a taco truck instead of a plated dinner, a dance floor that never clears out. Sometimes it’s smaller than that. A boba cart at the reception. A playlist stacked with songs only your friend group would know.

Big or small, that’s the stuff I love. The personal touches. The “wait, we can actually do that?” moments. The details that make a guest turn to whoever they’re sitting next to and say, “okay, this is so them.”

Absolutely PSYCHED to share some sneak peeks from Bella and Kevin’s Piedmont Community Hall wedding!!

I met Bella while photographing her friend Iris’s wedding back in 2024. I knew she and Kevin would be incredible and kind and wonderful, just based on how amazing Iris and Thomas were!

B + K had an amazing wedding day at Piedmont Community Hall. It was so sweet to see them together and see their friends and family come together to celebrate them.

Gimme gimme gimme all the bright and colorful wedding day palettes!!

Sometimes I put details into direct sunlight when I can because it just gives colors an extra pop, and it makes rings sparkle a little extra!

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room at Meli and Peter’s wedding at St. Catherine of Siena Parish and the Basque Cultural Center 🥹

Psyched to share sneak peeks from these cuties’ wedding celebration!

My favorite moment of the day? Peter tearing up the second he saw Meli walking down the aisle. Friends and family were right there with him! So many happy tears all around.

These two are just so sweet together, and it was such an honor getting to document their day from start to finish.

8 YEARS SINCE 8.18.18!!

I honestly can’t believe it’s been 8 years since our wedding day 🥰

This past year of marriage brought a lot of fun things-

🇯🇵 a trip to Japan
🌲 a stroll through Muir Woods
🍣 Lots of sushi
🗽 A trip to NYC / Philadelphia
🇨🇱 A trip to Chile for a 5-day backpacking trip in Patagonia
🧑‍🧑‍🧒 Time spent with family + friends
🖥️ A job change for Jake (still an attorney, just switched firms)
🚨Laser tag
🐶 Lots of time spent spoiling our pup, Millie
🏃‍♀️ Several runs and walks through our neighborhood

Ladies and gentlemen, my newest NIECE!! ✨

This little gem is such a delight and it was so fun meeting her and visiting my sister and brother in law. I got to see them in their new parent stage of life 🥰

So excited to have a new niece in the family!

Also - as a side note, I totally loved this studio! If I ever visit and photograph in Utah again, you bet it’ll be on my list!
