To become a mother is more than just the diaper changes and midnight feeds. It’s the absolute terrifying pleasure of loving something so immensely you would quite literally do anything to keep them happy and safe. It’s beautiful, scary and sacred. I’ve looked at moms these past 6 months with so much awe and admiration. Women are warriors. What an honor to be part of this sisterhood. Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the mamas and mother figures 💛

A Valentine’s Day beach elopement that started as a secret and turned into the sweetest surprise.

We had the best unexpected February weather, so much laughter, and the freedom to just create. Their closest family, the ocean, and a whole lot of love.

Later, they shared it with family and friends—making it even more special.

Stepping back onto this page after a little break that turned into the most meaningful chapter—becoming a mom 🤍 It feels only right to return with a family session.

Motherhood has shifted the way I see these moments. I find myself slowing down more, following your child’s lead, embracing the in-between—just like I do in my work as a speech therapist. There’s so much beauty in letting kids be exactly who they are.

I have such a deeper love for capturing families now that I have one of my own, and I’m so excited for all the sessions ahead this summer ✨

Being pregnant at the same time as all these beautiful mamas has given me such a newfound perspective on maternity sessions ☀️

What a miracle it is to be able to grow tiny humans. What our bodies go through is truly something to celebrate 🤍

If you’re on the fence about getting your maternity photos done because let’s face it, we are not always feeling our best later in pregnancy, I urge you to just book it! Your body is something to celebrate.

Last week Thomas and I had the honor of photographing some of our best friend’s intimate Philadelphia wedding and it was nothing short of perfection ✨

There were so many well thought out and emotional special touches to their 23 person ceremony I just have to share a few 💫
•
Prior to their day, Carlie asked each couple invited to share their first dance song. When their song played, they were asked to have a dance 🤍
•
Carlie wrote each of her 23 guests a hand written thank you card that she gave out at the end of the wedding. She spelled out just how much each person invited meant to them 🤍
•
Carlie dedicated her bouquet to her mom, letting her know just how much she means to her. She also dedicated flowers to her grandmother 🤍
•
Carlies family lit candles and spoke the names of passed family members who they wish were there with them on their special day 🤍
•
Intimate weddings are just that, intimate. What an honor to capture this day 🤍
