One of the benefits of being out on the West Coast for this eclipse was getting to experience it at a somewhat reasonable hour.
Getting the photo was another story. I headed out hoping to catch the moon over the mountains, only to realize I had the wrong tripod attachments. Drove home, switched them out, headed back… and realized I forgot my camera battery. 🤦♂️
One more trip home and I finally had everything I needed. Thankfully, I made it back in time to watch the eclipse unfold and snap a few photos.
What a wild and beautiful thing to witness. Definitely worth the extra trips home. 🌕🌑
