I've lived on the Del-Mar-Va Peninsula all of my life and I can't count the number of times I've camped and/or vacationed in Chincoteague, VA but of all those times I've never seen the Chincoteague Pony Swim...... until this year! I was fortunate to have been asked to join friends Jeff and Sherry on their pontoon boat to get a front row view of the swim. It was fun and extremely exciting to get the opportunity to photograph the swim as well. Here are a few of my favorites of the day.

Well, I totally forgot about the latest partial Solar Eclipse last week, but my friends have this nice little Sunflower Patch, so instead of the moon eclipsing the sun, here's a bee taking a bite out of a pretty Sunflower!

My mom and dad used to love to shop at the Island Christmas Shop in Manteo, NC. Then when Lynn joined Team Misener in 1980, it became one of her favorite OBX shops too!
