Good morning and happy Friday! Thanks to a friend for the tip on these little ones. Four baby Green Herons are located in a tree along the canal in Lewes. They're so cute - I've never seen babies before. My guess is they'll be fledging soon, as they are pretty active up there. Have a great one!

Good morning! I was lucky to find these two little cottonballs with their Momma. Black-necked Stilts are striking shorebirds easily recognized by their hyper-elongated, coral-pink legs, needle-like black bill, and sharp black-and-white plumage. Second only to the flamingo, the Black-necked Stilt possesses the longest legs in proportion to its body size of any bird in the world. Have a great one!
