In honor of the Real Performance Speed Shop Index shootout coming up, here's a look at the past winners. Friends of the family Kim Carl Arns took home the very first win. Laurie came back in her orange 2nd Gen camaro with the win the 2nd time out, and Bryan King showed up and showed out with his red camaro at last years index taking home the money in 6.0. 7.0 saw Dennis Soto taking the crown, and Darrell Cramer with the black C10 coming away with the win. We have a stacked list so far, if you want to see some good racing head out to NNRA - Good Times Drag Strip the 19th-20th for some good racing.

2 weeks away from the Real Performance Speed Shop Index Shootout. Stacy Gomez and the crew always put on a great show, here's a look back at some of the previous Index Shootouts. Will the bracket racers continue their sweep? Come out and find out. NNRA - Good Times Drag Strip has a Friday test and tune, and Saturday race to check out as well. Plenty to come check out and see some good racing.

Some changes to my schedule this season. With a lot of thought and consideration, I will only be doing one more race in Fallon this year. This month I'll be at NNRA - Good Times Drag Strip for the Real Performance Speed Shop index shootout. After I will hit the July race in Fallon with the camera, but that will be my last race with the camera out there this season. I will be at all of the races in Winnemucca, and I'm adding the August and September Club Rowdy Drift events. This was not an easy decision to make, but at this point i feel it's for the best for me. I'm still trying to race the Big Bucks in September, and if I don't get a ride I may come out with the camera depending. I'm sorry to my Fallon racing family, but with all the changes out there this season and everything i have going on I just don't feel it's a good fit right now. We shall see how next season goes, this may not be permanent.

Less than a month away from the Real Performance Speed Shop 6.0-7.0 index shootout. I hear the bracket racers want to continue the sweep, let's see if they can hold off the heads up racers this year. Come on out to NNRA - Good Times Drag Strip June 19th-20th for some great racing.

The final part of Saturday's social media up, can't thank the staff, crew, and racers at Top Gun Dragstrip, Fallon, Nevada. You guys are amazing, and I look forward to the next one. If you wish to purchase any images without watermarks you can check out the gallery in the comments below, or reach out to me directly. I have several ways of doing prints, and digital images. I have my next CT scan before the next race, so after that I'll have another update on how the cancer treatments are going. It's been a rough ride, but all the racers and crew in Fallon checking in makes me feel good. We're going to kick cancers ass.

Part one of Saturday up, it's definitely will take some adjustments and getting used to trying to keep up shooting while going through treatments, but we'll get there. New lens worked great though, half of Friday and all of Saturday were shot with my new lens and it's amazing. Especially for pan shots, let me know what you guys think.
