Painting on canvas got boring…

In early September, (when it was still pleasant out) I found myself walking on Revere Beach and I couldn’t resist not collecting these beautiful huge shells! I knew I just found my latest project, the size was just right for holding jewelry and they were big enough for me to do some kind of painting on them.

I finally found time to paint some of the shells in December. With acrylic paint, I used the ends of incense sticks to make the dots since the ends of my paint brushes were too thick. They turned out to be the perfect gifts for Christmas (especially for my mom who needs more jewelry holders now then jewelry) jk love you

San Diego watercolor series (gave away the other two paintings)
Reminiscing on my time in San Diego as I’m currently in rainy New England… it was time for change and I’m ready for it! San Diego felt like a dream and my year and half long vacation ended when March came. I always knew I wouldn’t be there forever so I tried to soak up the sun and capture all the beauty as much as I could. Feeling so grateful I got to experience it and excited for this new adventure💘
