DAY 1 of Influencer Camp at Reynoldsburg Summit High School. Special thanks to Adam from Midwest Photo for coming out to talk to my students about video making. The kids were really engaged and asked lots of questions. I was so proud! 🙂🙂

I haven't been able to livestream due to being so busy lately. Here are a few photos from recent shoots! I'll get back on the livestream hopefully next week!😃

Photo 1- Shooting an award ceremony with former Franklin County Commissioner Marilyn Brown at the Columbus Museum of Art.

Photo 2- Was a second shooter for Anita Kwan of Reel Hoot Productions. We were hired to film the Critical Race Theory protest near the Ohio Department of Education.

Photo 3 and 4- Filming a branding photo shoot with CEO of Dos Hermanos, Lisa Gutierrez, at Leveque Tower in downtown

Photos taken in 2008.

In 2009, I was given the rare opportunity to tour the 9/11 construction site as an intern at CNN in lower Manhattan. I remember how nervous I was as we traveled from the office to the site. I had no idea what to expect since I didn't live in NYC during 9/11. I was in high school when it happened and it still remains a vivid memory for me as for others.

That day it was just me and the cameraman who needed to capture footage for an upcoming 9/11 story and this was apparently routine for him. Before entering the site, we were given reflective vests and hard hats.
We were walked to an area where I believe was the first or first few floors of the One World Trade Center. Nothing enclosed us. It was literally just a massive concrete platform of open space. It was extremely peaceful considering being in the City, yet, felt eerie being in a spot where so many people lost their lives. I took a moment to take in the experience, carefully scanning the perimeter and the neighboring buildings. Trying to visualize what that day in 2001 must have felt like.

After the cameraman finished shooting a few b-roll shots of the site. We were taken down to an underground tunnel for additional shots. That was even more surreal with the darkness and dreariness on a bright sunny day.

I wish I would've documented the experience better at the time as it went by so fast but I wanted to be as present as possible. I'm forever grateful for this opportunity and was glad to witness history in the making. 💙
