Snow Photography

Snow Photography When choosing a photographer, you need to make sure you're getting someone who knows photography. Ask what camera they use. What editing software they use.

Ask if they know the rule of thirds, if they shoot manual, auto, or some hybrid of the two. I've been taking pictures since the mid 1980's (Nearly 30 years of photography). Landscape, sports, wedding, family, special events, fireworks, lightning, you name it . . . I've probably shot it. My main camera is the Canon T4i, and most time I shoot in what is called Aperture priority, and take a RAW and J

PG picture at the same time. RAW allows more flexibility when it comes time to edit the pictures. RAW is basically a digital negative (going old school there if you don't know what a negative is.) My editing is done with Photoshop. In most cases I'll edit and provide 3 formats of the picture. One formatted to print 4x6, one to print 5x7, and one to print 8x10. Because of how todays' world works (aka digital mediums), I don't hard print any pictures, but provide them to you on a CD with a print release.

New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.

Richfield Pool: Work has continued on the paring areas. They have covered all but one little spot with canvas, and plastic over the last hole. No more sneak peeks inside . . . . maybe.
Raising the R: Don't see anything new (you'll get pics each week because I can't see what's happened till the drone is in the air. so might as well take a picture right?)
Motel/Bank: Won't update until construction starts again.
Townhomes: They have put a layer of I'm guessing stucco on the building and some of the scaffolding is coming down.

New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
***** Pictures are lacking, but not from slacking. Went camping last week into the weekend. Went up to take pictures today and, well read each to see why.
Richfield Pool: They have started on the cement work for the parking lots. Went to the East side . . . . and they have covered all but one little spot with canvas, and plastic over the last hole. No more sneak peeks inside . . . . maybe.
Raising the R: Don't see anything new (you'll get pics each week because I can't see what's happened till the drone is in the air. so might as well take a picture right?)
Motel/Bank: Won't update until construction starts again.
Townhomes: They have the first layer of what I'm guessing will be stucco pretty much done. Why no picture? Well a construction crew was digging a hole in the road right where my flight path is. So due to FAA rules and regulations (and they are cracking down on drone pilots now), I'm unable to fly over people. So no picture or video.
**** I'm watching the weather and hoping that I can get pictures between storms next week (or is that later this week??).

New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
Richfield Pool: Didn't see any new work outside (last week they put some more awning on the front.) Had a short window to get pictures this week (with the holiday weekend) and they had a delivery going on right in front of the opening, so couldn't get any sneek peek pictures this week.
Raising the R: Don't see anything new (you'll get pics each week because I can't see what's happened till the drone is in the air. so might as well take a picture right?)
Motel/Bank: Won't update until construction starts again.
Townhomes: They were finishing up putting the black paper and mesh over the front of the building.

This weeks pictures:
New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
Richfield Pool: A little more work on the parking lot. I think we can see the outlines of the outside sidewalks around parking area's. Didn't see much new inside either. Did get a different angle that shows the pool is a rectangle instead of square.
Raising the R: Don't see anything new (you'll get pics each week because I can't see what's happened till the drone is in the air. so might as well take a picture right?)
Motel/Bank: Won't update until construction starts again.
Townhomes: In my driving by a couple times during the week, didn't see any work trucks on the site. building went up really fast, but has since slowed to a snail pace.

New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
Richfield Pool: They are starting work on the parking lot. I think we can see the outlines of the outside sidewalks around parking area's. big blue things hanging inside now. I'm guessing part of the Heating/AC system.
Raising the R: Don't see anything new (you'll get pics each week because I can't see what's happened till the drone is in the air. so might as well take a picture right?)
Motel/Bank: Won't update until construction starts again.
Townhomes: Looks like they have utilities in the ground for the current set and the second phase that will be on the East side of the lot. Nothing happening under the scaffolding.

Richfield Pool: nothing really new on the outside. They've drained the pool, so next up plastering and the deck.
Raising the R: Don't see anything new
Motel/Bank: Nice level lot with no debris left -- will not update until construction starts again.
Townhomes: They still have the scaffolding up, and this week doing what looks like utility work in front of the building.

How Long have I been taking pictures part 2. A long long loooong time. This one is a 39 year, 3 picture look at the Park Meadows Area of Park City Utah . . . . 39 years and, well, you can't get to the exact spot any more.

You know you've been taking pictures for a long, long, looooong time -- when you go back to the same spot (or as close as possible) and take 4 pictures over 39 years.

New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
Richfield Pool: Looked like a little more prep work on the parking lot. Sneak peak inside and what to the wondering eye should appear -- a full swimming pool. Don't jump for joy yet. Schedule they mentioned was cement, Fill with water to do a leak check. Drain it and do the plaster, then fill it again.
Raising the R: Looks like they back filled the foundation.
Motel/Bank: Nice level lot with no debris left
Townhomes: They still have the scaffolding up, and this week doing what looks like utility work in front of the building.
Unless I've found time in my busy weekend schedule, no video this week.
