Hey friends,
It been a minute. I’ve had several people reach out lately, asking if I’m still taking on sessions and weddings since my content froze in late 2024. The answer is yes. I’ve been taking on a variety of work (families, seniors, maternity, engagements, and a few weddings) but no longer feel comfortable sharing my client’s images on social media due to the unregulated and unchecked AI landscape we find ourselves in.
For me, my priority has always been and always will be YOU. And I feel it is my responsibility as both an artist and a business owner, to vocalize my stance on this ever-evolving technology. Which is why I'm opting out of sharing my art on these platforms and leaving it to my clients to make that choice for themsleves. Does this hurt the marketing side of my business? Absolutely. But it’s a risk I’m willing to take in order to protect my client’s privacy and my own art (that I’ve taken the time to craft over the span of 15 years).
Until laws are passed that safe guard images/art from this predatory based technology, my accounts will remain online and active behind the scenes for communication purposes, but I will no longer be sharing images/faces through any social media channels. Since I do have more control over my own website and email list, that will be the only spot you’ll catch updated imagery from time to time (all the while still being sensitive of showing faces online, especially children).
I still have some limited openings this summer and early fall for some family, maternity, and senior sessions. Please feel free to get in touch with me at [email protected]. And to those who have reached out in some fashion over the past two years, thanks for caring and checking in. I won’t forget it.
