Hi!

I struggled with how to announce this. So, I’m just going to do what I always do and be honest as the truth surfaces.

Completely contrary to a prior post about ending commissioned photography work, I will be continuing this work for the foreseeable future.

I continued to dig into myself to figure out where I feel that love of this work went and why.

One word: boundaries.

There are seasons in my life where my schedule is filled with work, activities, personal time, and people that I love immensely. But it can be too much all at once.

Even though I do love this creative work, I didn't love feeling that I needed to say yes to every commissioned session that came my way.

Well, somehow I JUST figured out that I don't.

I love my clients: couples, families, the newly graduated, and business owners. But I have to prioritize which love of what/who needs to come first.

What does this mean?

- I am making myself open and available for serving you and your loved ones with an outstanding experience resulting in beautifully polished images.

- I may say no. This isn't personal. My available time may not accommodate the desired session date or turnaround time. I will ALWAYS offer to do the work on my end to get you paired with someone who fits your needs and timeline!

- I'm re-launching my photography site (which I am SOOOOO excited for you all to see! really outdid herself)!

- My page is up and running.

- My Instagram account will still be under "" as I begin to identify myself as more than the lady behind the camera.

What can you expect from me?

- Honesty. As it is and as it changes.

- Clear communication.

- A joyful experience.

Thank you to my community of clients and friends who have provided an immeasurable load of support. You've given me your trust in the most uncertain times and fueled my desire to continue serving you through creative work.

I would not know myself as I do now if it wasn’t for the unfaltering, loving support of my close friends and family. For that, in this lifetime, I am in deep appreciation.

I seriously could not decide between which of this series to show off, so I picked three!

During my headshots session yesterday with Alexis, I got to capture her as well and was reminded of just how much of an artistic soul I am. I need colors, lights, sparkles, wind, depth, a dreamy sparkle in the eye, all of the things!

I’m so thankful I got the chance to renew my passions with such a stunning subject!

FINALLY!! I’ve been given the green light to post the surprise!

During the family photoshoot in San Diego, Andrew snuck away with Kierlee to change her into the “sister” shirt. Then, while I had the couple facing the ocean, she ran back down the beach to show daddy!!! (Who had NOOOO idea that Kourtney had found out she was pregnant two days earlier)!!!

SURPRISE!!!!! 🎉🍼 Baby number two, coming soon! (But not soon enough)!

Couldn’t get over his reaction! Everyone was tearing up and laughing so hard that we actually pulled it off!!!

Congratulations to two of our best friends and two of the best people we know on the planet. The world needs more Grows!

First time in California, and so much has happened already in 48 hours!

and I have the pleasure of staying with our best friends and their little one. We got to have a family photo session at Sunset Cliffs, and I’m hooked on west coast lighting. 😂 Can’t wait time share more of the adventures! @ San Diego, California

Look who it is! 😍😍

I’ll take the liberty of re-introducing Mr. Andrew Ling as the newest Shockoe Bottom Performance Coach & Personal Trainer.

In his words:

“I came to Richmond in 2017 after my Deployment with the Virginia Army National Guard. I received my Certified Personal Trainer from the National College of Exercise Professionals, as well as my TRX Fundamentals and Functional Fitness certifications. For the last three years I have been working at American Family Fitness in Short Pump. Now, I am a certified USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, and am waiting to take the exam for my Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

After three years in a corporate fitness setting, I could not bring myself to return following the COVID quarantine. I knew that my skills and experience would be of much greater service in a community-based environment that focused on true Strength & Conditioning.

I am actively looking to add new clients for 1-on-1 sessions, buddy sessions, and small group workouts (4-6 people). I am also focused on building a program specifically for tactical athletes to promote optimal fitness and longevity for military and first responders.

This is TISH. My keyboard autocorrects to capital letters now because that’s the only way I can address her and give an accurate idea of what you’ll be getting yourself into once you step into her circle. from is by far the most driven, life-loving, ass-kicking person I’ve ever met. I’ve had the pleasure of working with for the start of her second decade as a business owner.

She mad her team specialize in personal training, yoga, and life coaching services with an extremely honest and fun-loving attitude. As a veteran, she recognizes and thrives off the importance of group efforts and has taught me to recognize the value of personal relations both in and out of business mode.

I’ve been lucky to get in a few workouts with her before the gym closed down, and she’s by far the best workout it partner one could ask for. I’ve also invested in her services as a life coach to dig into some of my own roots, and I’m thrilled to offer perspective on this particular aspect of her contributions to the community.

In case you didn’t know, is THE MOST smiley person you will EVER meet. The only time she stopped smiling was to drink her champagne after the 🍾, and even THEN she still had a little grin on her face! She and I have known each other through high school and had so much fun catching up on our champagne run and during her session.

Congratulations to her and all the VCU Rams graduating despite the COVID craze!
