I am from New Kent, VA, but moved to Richmond in 2018 to pursue a degree at VCU. ra. In 2021 I graduated with a theatre degree, but during college, photography continued to pull at my heart strings so much I decided I wanted to continue to pursue photography. I worked full time for almost a year until I started teaching darkroom photography where I grew up at New Kent High School. After a year of non stop growth and chaos, I decided to go back to shooting photography full time again before locking myself into an eduction bubble. So, that leaves me where I am today, pursuing my dreams capturing peoples most precious memories. My grandma instilled the importance of capturing moments we don’t want to forget at an early age once I lost her. She allowed me to photograph her soon before she passed and I cherish those photos more than anything. The joy I receive from telling other people's stories fuels my soul and has brought me where I am today. I am so grateful.
