Case Study Brief: Colonial Heights Food Pantry Collaboration
Introduction: POWER UP Productions was tasked by the Colonial Heights Food Pantry with creating compelling video content to mark the grand opening of their expansion in September 2023. This collaboration aimed to enhance the pantry’s digital presence across various platforms, including their website, page, and a newly established YouTube channel, designed from the ground up by POWER UP Productions.
Objectives: To produce an impactful video for the grand opening of the pantry’s expansion, capturing the essence and impact of their work. To create and optimize content for the pantry’s website FAQs, page, and other external communications.
To design and launch a YouTube page for the pantry, complete with custom artwork, descriptions, and strategically researched keywords.
Ex*****on: POWER UP Productions embarked on a comprehensive content creation and digital strategy campaign for Colonial Heights Food Pantry, focusing on storytelling, community impact, and audience engagement.
The approach included: Filming and editing a centerpiece impact video for the grand opening. Developing a series of videos for online FAQs, showcasing the pantry’s services, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach efforts.
Creating engaging content for the pantry’s page to enhance interaction and reach.Building and optimizing the pantry’s YouTube channel, including custom artwork and SEO-driven descriptions and keywords.
Results: Facebook - The impact video and subsequent content led to a 49.4% increase in organic reach from October 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024. The pantry’s Facebook Video Views amassed 759 minutes viewed, indicating high engagement levels with the content. Content interaction across platforms saw a 162% increase, demonstrating a significant boost in audience engagement and interaction. (Videos were uploaded directly to FB)
The CHFP YouTube Channel had 237 views, 4.4 hours during the same timeframe with no specific traffic driving strategy. FAQ: Start a Food Drive, Donate Food was the highest viewed video to date.
