The newborn stage feels like a blur while you’re in it- soft stretches of sleepless nights, quiet snuggles, and learning the tiniest details of someone brand new.
I remember with each of my own babies how quickly it all moved. One day they fit perfectly in the crook of your arm, and before you know it, they’re stretching, changing, becoming. Those first few months are a whirlwind- of exhaustion, of wonder, of a love that feels entirely new and somehow deeper than anything you’ve known before.
It’s easy to think you’ll remember it all. The way their fingers curl around yours, the little noises, the way they settle against your chest. But time has a way of gently carrying those moments forward.
That’s why this stage matters so much. Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s fleeting. Because these are the days that become the “remember when” moments.
Hold them close. Soak it in. And when it feels like it’s all moving too fast… just know, these are the good old days 🤍
