2024, we made it! I had to take a break from UnderVine for the Months of October, November, December to focus on my day job. Industries love their acronyms. I learned a new one in 2023. In the wine sales game they refer to the last three months of the year as O/N/D. Lots of revenue, short time.

Everyday is a fruit day! So reads the Jardin Blind Tasting Championship Belt … to win, such daily devotion is certainly required - all blind tasting is a humbling and educational experience - mega cheers to and for sponsoring a FANTASTIC blind event - seriously well organized and excecuted - impressive in all respects! 🧐york.rainer faired well displaying a fine pallate indeed - her sensory skills served her well and she nailed multiple varietals and regions 💯🥂🍇
Chianti, long my nemesis, gave itself away with its ample tannin, acidity, color, and herbaciousness, and I’m stoked on my conclusions for the day. It’s nice to have some comparo’s and homework to take away from such an excercise… can you differentiate your barrel fermented chards? Napa vs. Burg?! Check in and check ouuuttt wine broooo throw down in the ring! A most fun wine time had by all 🥂🎉🥂
