Ventured outta Richwood last night to the “big ole city” for an absolute stunning engagement session!

The ✨vibe✨ we were going for was
F A N C Y and I think we nailed it!

From Christian and I being their 6th grade camp chaperones, Darian turned spokesmodel, lots of photoshoots and now capturing them in their bride and groom era— these two are the best!

Christian and I had the best time chatting it up with these two yesterday and cannot wait for their wedding next year!

Thank god I have my husband to drive me away from the bean fields (and capture behind the scenes of beautiful sessions) and into this! My car didn’t fit in most parking garages downtown and I got to be the passenger princess while he figured that situation out! 🤣 All four of us had non-richwood culture shock for a brief second I believe ;)

I get excited for summertime senior sessions every year— there’s no doubt about that! Let’s be honest, every senior session in general! If you’re excited about your senior session in any capacity, I can tell you we are going to be *besties*!😍

This summer already I’ve had some of the sweetest senior sessions! Each one is truly different from the next and I LOVE everyone going out of their way to make their session show their true selves

Wrapping up a glorious weekend filled with my favorite things. A little bit of Simply Madison, a lotta family time with these three and getting our house and everyone ready for a new week!

These babies are not ‘keeping’ as long as I’d like for them to, but man are we having the time of our lives with them 💛

Some more sunshine for your life on this lovely Friday!

Sweet Payton was the perfect photoshoot to send me into the weekend loving my job even more! These are only the sneak peeks that I RAN into my computer to do immediately after our session last night!

Another summer where my calendar is full of beautiful people and me leaving every “job” on actual cloud 9 💓💓

Adorable photoshoots, running on caffeine, convos with my clients that feel like therapy, running all over every day of the week, basically living outside with my kids in between, inboxes full, heart even fuller— my kind of summer is happening right in front of me!

So many things on my to do list this week— but we are celebrating the fact that I’ve emptied and responded my inboxes more than once this week (WIN!) Now time to get four beautiful galleries finished and sent off!

I spy…… a ring box in that back pocket! 💍

We pulled off the surprise of the century for Miss Kelsey— who apparently is really hard to surprise!

After a few secret phone calls, “fake” Instagram DM’s and text messages, this “Simply Madison model call” photoshoot turned out to be everything we’d hoped, with the best “YES” at the end!

Way back when Christian was a head middle school wrestling coach, Trace was one of the wrestlers back when he was in 8th grade. Now, Christian got to be his right-hand-man (secretly passing the ring into Trace’s pocket while him and Kelsey were posed for a picture) when he proposed to the love of his life! Full circle moments seem to happen right and left around here that have us grinning from ear to ear 🩵

A dreamy sunset session complete with the happiest faces and a beautiful ring at the end! We couldn’t be happier for you both!

It’s no secret that this team + the individuals on it year after year mean so much to me and forever will pull on my heart strings a little extra!

Getting to spend (a little bit of) one of their greatest years yet with them (and their sweet mamas, let’s be honest!) is so special to me!

This team changed my life all those years ago and still does year after year, person after person!

Go do the greatest things, girlies! I cannot wait to watch you rock it even more from over here 🩷

The whole point of a photoshoot— to capture a moment in time you want to look back on over and over

Eric + Vickie closed a chapter (in the fall when I shot this session!), but before they did, they wanted to make sure it was documented!

Moving from a home where you made countless memories will never be easy, but having this special little session to document it (and the things it held that you loved) makes it a little better!

I’m grateful to be the one people choose to capture sentimental but exciting times in their lives! Cheers to downsizing, you two! 💛
