Senior sunrise + senior Sunday, but make it Rylee edition! 🌼

The amount of times I said “NO WAY” during this gorgeous golden hour session was an all time high! This session slightly set my heart on fire— it was absolutely stunning! Would you believe these were all taken in O N E location?! We got so much variety which was the goal! I’ve shot at this spot a gazillion times, I even got engaged here way back when. Today was a challenge for me to use spots in new ways and I LOVED it!!!

Morning sessions I think are officially my favorite— and that’s saying a lottttt because I’m a big sunset girl! Waking up before the sun with some beautiful people will forever be worth every second! 💓

K I N L E Y

A little sunshine filled face to add to my feed! Her senior session sure filled my cup— and in ways I didn’t expect!

A few months ago we started dreaming up her ‘perfect’ senior session. I had brought up the idea of using a clothesline with cute quilts hung up! I told her that I wanted Christian to build me a clothesline anyway, so it gave us the perfect excuse to have a hard deadline for my laundry days ;)

Next came the wooden swing from our “green bean tree”— another idea I have wanted to bring to life for a while! Christian built and hung it the day of her session in all of 20 minutes. No, it’s not really called a green bean tree— but we like that name better than what it truly is 💁🏻‍♀️

Turns out I just needed this beautiful girl in front of both to make it even more dreamy! Two things now at my house that I’ll get to use in a gazillion ways. The simple little things that get to be apart of some memorable and big moments both for photoshoots but also in our daily life.

Thankful + grateful + content. I’ve got clients that trust my random ideas, a husband to make said ideas happen (and blow my expectations totally out of the water) and a career that is quite literally sunshine in a bottle with people I adore! My perfect life for a billion and one reasons beyond all that! 💛

Find me frolicking in wildflowers until further notice 🌷🌾🌺🌼🌸

Especially when I get to have miss Kylee as the main character— you are absolutely, positively glowing, girl! This session made me sooooo excited for part two to happen in the coming months! I have a feeling it’s going to get more dreamy as we go!

Almost completely booked with sessions for the next few months + feeling so so grateful! Holy session season— my favorite! One day I’ll be able to breathe again, but my my my it’s worth it when I get to do what I love! 🤩

I knew Haleigh’s session was going to be beautiful— but this exceeded everything I was envisioning!

I think even the most extravagant part of her session is so simple and pretty! ✨

How cool is it to be able to say “my mom is a rockstar— she hung this swing and operated the equipment to swing me over the water!”?! Because I think that’s my favorite part! The little, minor details 100% make up the most beautiful sessions!

Spending the evening with this girl and her mama made my Monday night all the better! I wouldn’t want to spend it any other way— because why would I when I get to do something I L O V E 🩵

Every wedding I shoot at this point, I get to the car and say “wow Christian— the people we get to be around are incredible!” and I’m so lucky I’m at a point in my business where THESE are the clients I get to work with 💓

At one point yesterday, we had downtime before the ceremony. We were chatting about Madi + Tanner to other vendors. Just how sweet they are, how they are always in a great mood, their energy is just incredible at all times, how calm the day was…I could go on and on. And now we know the people they surround themselves with are the same way! It was truly incredible to be at their wedding yesterday! I mean that whole heartedly— it was a wholesome, fun and the most CHILL day! I never heard one complaint or grumble from a single person— truly the most joyful filled wedding! Christian said at one point “good people are just GOOD people!” and he is so so right! I did not cry the entire ceremony….until they turned to walk back down the aisle. I’ve never heard a crowd clap and cheer soooo loud for anyone for what felt like close to a minute. I instantly thought “Wow! Imagine being THAT loved by every single person in this room. This entire room is filled with human beings that love them THIS much!” And instantly had uncontrollable tears!

We knocked every formal photo out before the ceremony so I could send these two off to *enjoy* their own cocktail hour! My number one goal is for the bride and groom (and family and friends) to LIVE the day— not rush through it and be pulled in 10001 directions. We crushed it soooo much that these two had TWO. WHOLE. HOURS. of *downtime* to hang out before their ceremony! Every single photo, donezo with two hours to spare! When I make wedding day timelines, know my priority is always you enjoying your day and getting to soak up every second of it!

I could keep this caption going for literal days, but I’ll end by saying this:

Every photo you will see from this wedding is truly what my eyes just saw yesterday. Minimal posing— these and every one after are Tanner + Madi living their day, just existing and so in love! It couldn’t be more perfect!

Good morning all you lovely people! I hope your morning scroll is off to a great start with Ava in your view!

I got to have her in front of my camera last night until the sun went all the way down! As the months literally fly by, I can feel the winter blues creeping towards me and my camera and it’s *spooky!* I NEVER want this summer to end. Can you blame me when my (almost) every night currently is basking in the sunshine, frolicking in fields and chatting it up with people I adore?! Didn’t think so!

I have no words other than these are just flat out stunning! I couldn’t get to my computer fast enough at 9:30pm to send off a handful in hopes to have Ava squeal at just as much as I did at these! Based on the messages I got from her after, I’d say…. Mission accomplished 💓

I’ll take 234 more senior sessions for 2026, please! 😍

Let’s go a little bit back in time with the Clark fam—- from current day, to all the way back when it was just Dani they were snuggling!

So many sweet seasons of life in what felt like happened as quick as we blinked! I’ve shared some of their sessions, and just never got around to sharing some! A couple of my sessions with them did not get the lime light they deserved, so I’m sharing now! Maternity sessions, newborn sessions and birthday celebrations all in the exact same spot, under the same trees, in different seasons at their home! 🩵

This *job* means so much to me and the moments I get to witness and capture are some I’ll never take for granted!

Thank you so so much to those who choose me to be apart of their lives in such a special way! You guys rock! 💓

Clearly it’s S E N I O R season over here these days! This is my Super Bowl, everyone! I’m shooting all types of other sessions, but holy seniors! I don’t even want to look at my books because I KNOW I have minimal days open for future senior bookings! MY favorite problem to have because it means so many senior sessions fill my days right now! (Pro tip— don’t wait to reach out! Seriously it’s crazy town over here with senior inquiries and bookings!)

Quinn looked ever-so-beautiful in her time in front of my camera!

We rescheduled this photoshoot due to the awful wildfire smoke we had, and that was a gamble that worked sooooo well in our favor. We also changed the location literally the morning of because our original spot the water was crazy high after the big rain we got last weekend!

This spot was basically made for her vision and I had the best night with her and her parents shooting these! Holy golden hour glow!

Hellooooo, Miss Ella! ✌🏼

Ella got to live out her childhood dreams at her senior session with a car she’s been obsessseeddd with her entire life! I love that this session couldn’t be more her and her personality! How stinking adorable are these (!!!)

I feel like most people would *freak out* when it suddenly thunderstorms (hello pop up that never showed on the radar even as it was happening!) and pours down rain when your session starts in 10 minutes! After 9 years under my belt, I didn’t even bat an eye because I KNEW we were about to have the most stunning golden hour. I got no messages or call from them being like “ummm what do we do?!” Talk about us all being 0% phased! Ella and her family totally trusted and put full faith in it all and I’d say we nailed it! 😘

It is Miss Avery’s turn on my grid! 🌾🌷🌻

We had full intentions on her truck photos being at the same location as the rest (because duh, it’s gorgeous!) but had to change up our plans when we realized the truck probably wouldn’t make it 35 minutes away! The wildfire haze also decided to enter the chat reallll thick on Thursday! We switched gears and did a short and sweet truck session at my house and rescheduled the other for a couple days after! The haze got a little better by Sunday and we got some gorgeous golden hour glow!

It has been determined that Avery needs to be a stylist of some sort (aka for me) because geshhhhh she is the queen of picking outfits and accessories that are outside of the box but so adorable! I also told her she kind of resembles ‘Raelynn’ so naturally, I had to put her song on this. Avery is a little country cutie! 💓
