Soon there will be clear the shelter events going on. For the sake of the animals PLEASE do not go get one if you are not completely prepared for the time, care and expense of owning a pet. Just because adoptions will be reduced or free, do not go get one on a whim without thinking the consequences through. These are living, feeling beings that deserve a good life and not just gotten on whim because they are free. They can get injured or sick and require annual checkups. Please make sure you are ready.
