Since we have some new followers we thought we’d do a little introduction!
Hi and welcome to Planted Creative Co! We’re Killian and Sheridan Millner, a husband and wife duo who loves documenting every stage of your lives.
We met at community college where we studied photography and had nearly every class together! And we’ve been together ever since.
Killian went on to study graphic design and later landed a job working as a cinematographer for a marketing agency in MHK. He now does freelance videography and teaches digital media at McPherson College. You’ll often catch him second shooting weddings with Sheridan, or tagging along to photo sessions getting behind the scenes footage, and being the guy that hypes everyone up! (If he’s not there videoing, that is).
Sheridan started the photography business as Shutterbug by Sheridan while a senior in high school. The business was rebranded to Planted Creative Co in 2025. Sheridan works as a preschool teacher at a daycare during the week and does photography mostly on the weekends.
Together we have two beautiful children, ages 3 years and 4 months, who we love spending every moment we can with. We know that life moves FAST and we’re here to help document every stage. Whether it’s an engagement, wedding, pregnancy or birthday, we’re here for it!
While this page mainly focuses on the photography side of Planted, we wanted to remind you that we do offer video services as well. Just shoot us a message and we’d be happy to help!
