The moments when a family goes from two to three are the kind of moments that just can’t fully be explained. 🤍

There’s something so incredibly special about watching two people step into this whole new chapter together waiting, wondering, dreaming, and already loving someone they haven’t even met yet.

These are the moments I love getting to document as a Chattanooga maternity photographer. Not just the bump, but the in-between moments, the connection, and the beginning of a whole new version of your family.

Watching your little ones grow right before your eyes is such a gift.

This was the sweetest first birthday session, and one that felt extra special to me. I’ve had the honor of photographing this family through so many of life’s biggest milestones — from their engagement session to now their daughter’s first birthday.

There’s something so special about getting to grow alongside the families I photograph. To be trusted to capture not just one moment, but the chapters that come after it… that is something I’ll never take for granted. From two people in love, to becoming parents, to celebrating their little one turning ONE. 🥹

Being able to watch their story unfold through my lens is truly one of the greatest gifts of this job.

Of all the places it could land… it chose the details.

What makes this moment even sweeter is how perfectly it fit into this couples day. M & P have a deep love for nature and animals, and they were very intentional to incorporate that love throughout their wedding. They even had an owl and opossum presentation from a local wildlife refuge for their guests to enjoy. So cool, but more on that later.

Nature decided to make an appearance throughout their day and it all started with the detail photos. The most meaningful details aren’t always the ones you plan… sometimes they simply arrive 💚
