A lot of you have already met this handsome face over the years, but for those who haven’t — meet Luke. 🤍
Luke is my oldest, and he’s been tagging along to Humble + Honey sessions with me for years. But as he’s gotten older, he’s gone from simply “coming with Mom” to genuinely becoming one of my favorite little assistants and you’re going to be seeing a whole lot more of him at sessions moving forward.
And I have to brag on him a little, because he is REALLY dang good at it. He carries gear, keeps track of things, helps with posing, gets kids’ attention, makes people laugh, and somehow always seems to know when I need an extra set of hands.
He is SO good with people. He can carry on a conversation with just about anyone, he’s respectful and confident, and he has this natural ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable. And it’s not just his mom saying that — the reviews and messages I’ve gotten from clients who have had Luke at their sessions honestly speak for themselves. 🥹 People notice him. They remember him. And hearing clients go out of their way to tell me how helpful, funny, polite, or great he was with their kids makes me ridiculously proud.
Photography is obviously my job, but so much of what I do is about connecting with people and making them comfortable enough to be themselves in front of my camera… and Luke just gets that.
So while he’s definitely not new around here, I figured it was time to officially introduce him as part of the Humble + Honey crew. 🤍 He’ll be tagging along as my assistant to quite a few more sessions, learning the business, gaining some real-world experience, making a little money of his own, and making his mama’s job a whole lot easier. If you’ve already had Luke at one of your sessions, you know. 😂🤍 And if you haven’t met him yet, there’s a pretty good chance you will!
